Explore McCall

Our central location puts McCall’s best attractions right at your doorstep. Stroll to Legacy Park, explore both marinas, skate at Manchester Ice Center, or discover unique shops, galleries, and restaurants just moments away.

For those craving adventure, head south to Jug Mountain Ranch for fat biking or snowshoeing amidst stunning winter landscapes. Ski enthusiasts can hit the slopes at nearby Tamarack Resort or Brundage Mountain. Whatever your idea of the perfect getaway, Hotel McCall is your gateway to unforgettable experiences.

Each of McCall’s six area’s courses have their own unique appeal, but we can’t help but be a bit partial to Jug Mountain Ranch, our sister course.

As a designated Silver Ride Center, McCall has terrain for everyone. Ride the backcountry, catch a chairlift at the resorts, or try our shuttle at Jug Mountain Ranch

Spend the day boating on Payette Lake, from tubing and wakeboarding to a relaxing cruise – there is no better way to spend a summer day in McCall.

Explore the glassy waters of the North Fork of the Payette River on a paddleboard, kayak, or canoe. Perfect for relaxing and spotting a few moose, deer, or bald eagles.

Hike through meadows, forests, or to one of our 300 alpine lakes. There is a trail for every mood and every ability. Bring the kids, bring the dog, bring your fishing pole.

Get off the beaten path and onto dirt. From UTV riding to dirt bike singletrack, there is no shortage of adventures to have off-road.

Idaho is known as the Whitewater State for good reason and McCall is situated right in the heart of some of the most sought-after stretches of river in Idaho.

From Ponderosa State Park to the iconic “Bearing Wall” at Art Robert’s Park to the beaches at Rotary, Brown, and Legacy Parks, McCall is a goldmine of public parks and green spaces.

Fly fish along the Payette River, drop a line for trophy trout in Payette Lake, fish from a float tube at a high mountain lake, or troll for record-setting perch in Lake Cascade.

McCall’s bistros and eateries are diverse and delicious! We love Rupert’s at Hotel McCall and for a night cap, Foresters just down the street from the Hotel.

Sip local craft beer in the Courtyard next to the Hotel at Salmon River Brewery- then keep the fun going and sample the brews at Broken Horn and McCall Brewing, too. Pick up an Ale Trail Passport and collect stamps to win a pint glass.

Treat yourself to an indulgent day of relaxation and rejuvenation with a massage, facial, or pedicure. The fresh mountain air makes a spa day that much more special.
